Japanese Companies Ricoh, Citizen Watch Shore Takeover Defenses
An increasing number of Japanese companies,
including Ricoh Co. and Citizen Watch Co., are issuing more shares and raising
dividends to thwart the kind of hostile takeover attempted by Internet company
Livedoor Co. this year.
