Oldest Bible is going digital
Scanning in 3 cities, monastery to aid research of
1,650-year-old text using a technique, known as hyperspectral imaging, will use
a camera to photograph the parchments at different wavelengths of light,
highlighting faded texts obscured by time and later
overwritings.
