Toshiba backs larger disc format
A start-up company that's developed a high capacity
holographic storage technology has received money from several investors
including Japanese consumer electronics giant Toshiba. Toshiba's investment will
help the company commercialize a technology that can store hundreds of times
more data than a conventional DVD, on a disc the same size.
