Two Picks In Hard Disk Drives


A number of hard-disk-drive companies will be reporting earnings in the next few weeks, notably Seagate Technology (nyse: STX - news - people ), Western Digital (nyse: WDC - news - people ) and Maxtor (nyse: MXO - news - people ). Citing seasonal demand at the high-end, ongoing adoption of drives to consumer electronics and above-seasonal demand for enterprise drives, Credit Suisse First Boston expects healthy results.
