Apple finally realizes mice can have more than one buttonSo what if they're ten years late to the party?
Apple has released its new US$50 Mighty Mouse, which is the
first multibutton mouse the company has ever shipped. While Mac OS X (and OS 8
and 9 before it) has supported contextual menus from the beginning, Apple
stubbornly insisted on form over function when it came to its plastic
pellet-shaped mice. Mac users who wanted to avoid reaching for the Control key
each time they wanted to right-click were forced to shell out extra for another
mouse.
