15 second short shot entirely on cameraphone


Camera phones are heading into bold new territory: Shane Meadows, who you might remember as the director of Brit revenge flick ‘Dead Man’s Shoes’ has just shot the world’s first short completely shot on mobile (a Nokia N90 to  be exact).

And when I say short I mean short: 15 seconds to be exact. The film called ‘The Stairwell’ and featuring, yup, you guessed it, a collision on a stairwell, showcases Nokia’s mobile shorts competition: you can submit your 15 second films at www.nokiashorts.com. Makes you wonder doesn’t it: bold new art form or marketing fad? Time will tell.
