Digital cameras make great leap forward
Nine years ago when the digital camera was born in
what could be called the dark ages of video imaging, the picture quality was so
disappointing that some early buyers were giving them back to the store. Today,
digital cameras are outselling film cameras as video imaging has spawned a
technological revolution in photography in which digital cameras have equaled
film-camera quality.
