Ansel Adams' sense of wonder


Looking through his viewfinder, Ansel Adams imagined landscapes that still shape our vision of the American West.

He saw El Capitan towering above snow-laden pines at Yosemite. He saw ghostly aspens in the Colorado dawn. And he saw a rising full moon bathe a cemetery in forlorn beauty.
