Canon to invest $188 mln in SED panel R&D centre


Canon Inc. (7751.T: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Monday it would invest about $188 million in a new centre in Japan to develop production technology for surface conduction electron emitter displays (SED), a promising new type of flat panel.
