Press Release: Digital Imaging '05 Keynote Presentation to Feature Visionaries HP, Kodak, and Sprint

InfoTrends/CAP Ventures, the leading worldwide market research and consulting firm for the digital imaging and document solutions industry, will once again host its annual U.S. conference titled "Digital Imaging '05 - Expanding Links in the New Digital Imaging Chain." This conference will be held September 28-29, 2005 at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport in Burlingame, California.

Day one shifts into gear with an annual state-of-the-market address by InfoTrends/CAP Ventures. This big-picture session will examine where the market is today and discuss what can be expected in 2006. The session will provide a snapshot of the market size, opportunities, and challenges in photo capture, usage trends, photo sharing, printing, storage, and convergence.
This will set the stage for a dynamic keynote presentation featuring senior pacesetters from HP, Kodak, and Sprint. This year, industry thought leaders articulate their views on future growth opportunities as the digital imaging industry advances towards maturity. They will share their observations on how the consumer digital photography experience is changing as options for capturing, sharing, storing, and printing images continue to expand and improve.
The program continues with informative and thought-provoking presentations and panel debates from highly-respected industry leaders like Agfa, Adobe, Casio, Epson, Fuji, Shutterfly, and Yahoo!.
"As an industry, we need to focus on services and solutions that will continue to improve the end user experience," commented Kristy Holch, Conference Chairperson and Group Director at InfoTrends/CAP Ventures. "During this year's conference, our speakers will examine growth areas including mobile imaging, on-the-go photo viewing, content management, and imaging in the home. We'll also consider as a group ways that we can increase print volume, regardless of print location. A combination of market trend analysis, opinion sharing, and networking should lead to productive results for everyone involved."
Wal-Mart and Best Buy will offer their perspective during an interactive session on photo printing trends at retail locations. In addition, eBay will be featured in a special presentation entitled "Leveraging the Internet." Attendees will learn from one of the world's leading online shopping destinations as they share their views on the transition from film to digital and what it means for the photo industry.
The conference will conclude with "Predictions for the Future." Financial experts will take a macro-level look at the market and trends in mergers, acquisitions, and VC funding. They will consider how new advances in semiconductors, printers, and other imaging technologies will affect investments. Changes in the online space will also be discussed.
