Press Release: TIARA GROUP & RECHARGER MAGAZINE TO CO-HOST GLOBAL REMANUFACTURING FORUM AT RECHINA ASIA EXPO


Ojai, California, September 14, 2005 – The Tiara Group, producer of the Imaging Materials Seminar™ series will link with Recharger Magazine to co-host a one-day Global Remanufacturing Forum in Shanghai, PRC on December 7, 2005. The event will precede the Second Annual ReChina Asia Expo and will be held at the Five Star Shanghai JC Mandarin Hotel. Tiara promises an informative and eye-opening program with presentations from experts focused on Imaging Opportunities in China.

For the past few months, Terry Gorka, Tiara’s Managing Director, has held planning meetings with ReChina Asia executives Sean Liu and Kevin Han to develop the most effective and informative program. Gorka summed up Tiara’s involvement by saying “We are excited about this working relationship with Recharger and ReChina officials in planning the Forum program and in selecting Asian, European, and American speakers.”

Tiara Chairman Art Diamond observed, “China offers the imaging industry an enormous potential and it is our goal to provide business information, strategic intelligence, and key introductions that will benefit companies inside and outside the region.”

The Forum will be launched at a Welcome Reception Tuesday evening, December 6. It will then commence at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7 featuring the imaging industry’s most informed analysts and experts from China and abroad. These individuals will give their perspective on doing business in China and on opportunities for exporting and marketing Chinese products in foreign markets.

“In addition to Chinese nationals, we wish to attract an international audience with topics that are relevant to their businesses,” declared Mr. Sean Liu, President of ReChina Asia Expo. Liu added, “The Forum is a most important event this year, particularly with government representatives in attendance. The Chinese government still needs to be better educated about the legitimate business of remanufacturing. Bringing together government officials and leading companies in the industry is critical to the future of remanufacturing in China.”

Mr. Kevin Han, ReChina Asia Expo’s Marketing Manager, noted that “The Global Remanufacturing Forum is being designed as an interactive meeting with as much audience involvement as possible.”

Among the invited guests are a number of senior government officials representing China’s customs office, environmental protection department, intellectual property agency, and plant inspection bureau. Some of these officials will participate in an afternoon panel discussion to share information about the Chinese government’s relationship to the imaging business and to answer questions from attendees.
                                                                                                                                                          
Senior executives from the ink jet ink, toner, and cartridge remanufacturing industries will be invited to attend the Forum on Wednesday to set the stage for the ReChina Asia Expo which follows at the Shanghai Exhibition Center from Thursday to Saturday, December 8 to 10. Over 170 companies are confirmed as Exhibitors at this show.
