Analysts call for HP to sell print businessAnalysts called for Hewlett Packard’s Imaging
and Printing Group to be sold off following the announcement this week that the
printing and computer giant is to slash 968 jobs in the UK. HP refused to
comment on the future of its printing business or where the job cuts would come.
HP operates seven sites in total across the UK in Bracknell, Birmingham,
Bristol, Erskine, London, Reading and Warrington. 5,900 jobs in total will be
cut across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.
