Canon, Adobe develop paper-to-digital solutions
Japanese electronics firm Canon and US software
firm Adobe Systems are working together to develop paper-to-digital scanning,
security and print solutions based on Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). The
combination of Adobe Live Cycle and Adobe PDF technologies with Canon's Image
Runner multi-function product (MFP) line and Image Ware software products will
enable information workers to integrate paper processes into more secure digital
workflows.
