LG.Philips Gets 3-Year Deal To Supply Flat Panels to H-P


LG.Philips LCD Co. said it signed a three-year deal, valued at about $5 billion, to supply Hewlett-Packard Co. with flat-panel displays.

LG.Philips LCD, whose roughly 20% share of the world market for liquid-crystal displays is second to Samsung Electronics Co., will supply flat panels for notebook computers and monitors to H-P from June 2005 through May 2008.
