Camcorder Weds Hard Drive, Pictures to Follow

JVC plans to introduce four G Series models in August with 20-gigabyte and 30-gigabyte hard drives, priced from $800 to $1,000. The larger drive allows up to 10.5 hours of recording time at a resolution comparable to that of a DVD, and up to 37 hours at much lower, but still passable, quality. The cameras, all with 2.5-inch screens and weighing 14 ounces, can also capture 1.33-megapixel still images.
