RR Donnelley of U.S. pays $95 mln for Asia Printers


Printing services company RR Donnelley & Sons Co. (RRD.N: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Sunday that it had agreed to buy Asia Printers Group Ltd., which prints books under the South China Printing brand, for about $95 million in cash.

Chicago-based RR Donnelley said Asia Printers Group, which it will buy from Asia Printing Holdings Ltd., will complement its platform in China and help it expand its book business.

Asia Printers Group produces and exports children's books and prints financial documents in Hong Kong and other parts of Asia.
