Free E-Mail and Phone Access Available to Katrina Evacuees in Houston
What: Free access to e-mail, and local and
long-distance phone service for Hurricane Katrina evacuees at all CompUSA stores
in Houston, San Antonio, Corpus Christi and McAllen. Cash donations will be
accepted for the American Red Cross reliefeffort. Additionally, these Texas
stores are teaming with Somebody Cares Houston and the Houston Food Bank to
serve as drop-off points for clothing and non-perishable food
items.
Who: Access will be provided to Louisiana,
Mississippi, Alabama and
Florida
residents.
When: Free e-mail and phone
access begins Saturday, Sept. 3. The
access will continue as needed.
