New Kodak chiefs set to tackle plate prices
The finalisation of Kodak’s post-Creo
takeover UK senior management team could see plate prices stop
falling.
Senior industry figures said the
elimination of Creo’s drive to take market share from Agfa, Fuji and KPG
should arrest the declining price per square metre of plates. The market has
been subject to overcapacity and falling prices since Creo signalled its
intentions to compete in the sector three years ago.
